Well, More Like About Me..
My name is Darren Keirle and I work as a Web Designer / Developer for a company called Somerset Web Services. I am fanatical about web development and design and spend pretty much my entire life either designing or coding.
Venus Flytraps are a new interest of mine, I came across them recently after chatting with an established grower in my area. As my collection grew so did my enthusiasm and it has quickly become a hobby.
In looking for materials surrounding my interest I quickly discovered that all literature was incredibly badly organised and different aspects of information could be found on lots of independent sites but none seemed to contain everything. Given my background I took it upon myself to develop a site which fulfills all my expectations for a VFT enthusiast site, and so I hope fulfills all of yours.
This site is written in Valid W3C complaint XHTML and CSS. These standards signify not only good, clean efficient structured code, but also makes accessibility for people with visual impairments and disabilities easier as specialist equipment can interpret content more efficiently.
